Hello and welcome to Uniquely Twisted – wire art. I know you are probably wondering who is this person and you want to know how my passion for wire art started? Well guess what? I am going to tell you a little story of where, how and when it all started.
Back in 2012 I was working in care and someone thought they would put the most uncrafty person in charge of the crafting activities, this was madness as I was dreadful at colouring within the lines never mind drawing, painting and the rest. So I guess you could say my crafting passion didn’t start there hehe.
Following on from that I had to take time off work and I was sooooo bored I picked up some beads left over from the failed crafting activities and soon discovered my flow, my passion for crafting started there, I introduced clay, shrink plastic, glass work ( that was fun Bunsen burner and all Hehe) pyrography and needle felting and more but I will stop there otherwise we will never get to where I am now.
So I enjoyed it all but then I discovered wire, wire just flowed, I felt I could tell a story through wire and bring things to life through the use of my imagination, hands and wire. From that moment my passion just grew and I have never looked back. I am completely self taught I wanted my pieces to be born from me, from my heart and my imagination, I wanted my pieces to be special and unique to my customers. I plan to continue, constantly growing, my ideas are overflowing and I can’t wait to share my wire work journey with you all. I love nothing more than to bring happiness to the people receiving my work . Xxx

Wire is my passion
My pieces are born straight from my imagination and created from the heart. But before I started creating my pieces I spent days/weeks/months researching the best materials to use in order to bring my imagination to life but to a high standard. I want my pieces to last a lifetime and bring happiness and joy forever. In order to do this, I trailed numerous suppliers and wires to ensure I offer only the best. I am constantly reviewing my suppliers to ensure that I stay on top with 5 star ratings.
Unique pieces designed and handmade with you in mind.
All my pieces are designed by myself, I don’t follow tutorials as I want my pieces to be completely my own and unique. Hours of work goes in to each design, measuring lengths to get the correct proportions, amount/strands/layers used to get the right thickness.
Colourings are researched to get the right blends/shades for animal sculptures. Angles of animals are observed to create the right posture and so much more. This is just on the design table before I even pick up the wire to create.

How It Works
First
First you place your order, tell my what you would like exactly (perhaps a photo or drawing of an animal/loved one or give me an idea of something you want bringing to life.
Next
I design your piece based on the picture/drawing or the ideas you have given me.
Then
Once you are happy with the design I take all what we have discussed, colour, size and any other information and I bring it to life in wire
