ABOUT ME

I’m Christina, the designer and creator behind Uniquely Twisted Wire Art. I create handcrafted wire sculptures and wire work jewellery.

Creativity seems to have always flowed through my veins. I’ve always been interested in creating.

One day, I discovered wirework, and I instantly fell in love with it: the flow of it, the possibilities, the expression- the list goes on. I ordered so many different wires and tools; I would say this is when Uniquely Twisted Wirework was born.

When I started, I couldn’t stop. It brought me so much joy, and when I started creating for others, seeing their happiness and knowing my pieces brought comfort and pure joy, well, this, this made me very happy.

My wirework comes from the heart; each piece is created with so much love and care, and always with the recipient in mind. Each piece is unique and made by me, by hand, with just my imagination and creative joy.

There are no words to describe what wirework is to me; just know it’s made by little old me, smiling happily knowing I’m creating a piece especially for you to bring a smile to your face when you receive it and every single time you look at it.

Inspired by Nature

My designs come straight from the natural world. The shape of a windswept tree, the glow of a polished gemstone, the curve of a bird in flight — these are the things that shape my work.

I’m drawn to pieces that feel organic and alive, never mass-produced or uniform. That’s why no two creations are ever quite the same. Each one follows its own gentle path, just as nature intended.

Twist by Twist

There are no machines here. I shape every sculpture and necklace entirely by hand, often over many hours of careful, patient work.

I bend, wrap, and weave the wire until the form feels right. I set each gemstone with intention, balancing colour and shape until the whole piece comes together. It’s slow work, but that’s the point.
